PERFECT BOOK
I am a newbie in Information Security. This book is very clear: it provides a broad review of the entire field of IS, background on many related elements, and enough detail to facilitate understanding of the field on management and technical views. The autors are both CISSP and the book is focused on the CISSP Common Body Knowledge.
Each chapter contains: Chapter-opening scenario, offline and technical degree boxes , hands-on learning, chapter summary, review summary, questions about it and exercices.
"The informations risk and controls are not in balance in technical field" or

Radioguided Surgery
Published in Spiral-bound by R G Landes Co (15 June, 1999)
Authors: Eric D. Whitman and Douglas Reintgen
Average review score:

Comprehensive View of Radioguided Surgery!
The authors described a nice algorithm to apply a sentinel node and radioguided surgery including data sheets on different sentinel lymph nodes detection in various diseases (such as in melanoma, breast cancer and parathyroid detection). In addition, description of a good gamma probe was mentioned generally without any bias. The book also described in detail the estimated dose of radiation during the procedure to the surgeons and pathologists and how to use good radiation safety practice.

In my opinion, this book gives a comprehensive view of the basic techniques of the new technology about radioguided surgery.

Ready for Red (My First Colors Series)
Published in Hardcover by Abbeville Press, Inc. (February, 1998)
Author: Candace Whitman
Average review score:

Ready to be read by all parents to their young children
It's hard to decide which is more charming, the text or illustrations. Ms. Whitman's talents are apparent in both. The clear, bright colors are sure to appeal to young children, while the fine nuances of texture will charm adults. The lilting verses cleverly introduce children to color in their environment, using some rather unusual examples. This is far from an ordinary read-aloud book about color. Families are likely to treasure it for years.

Sacagawea Dollar Album
Published in Hardcover by St. Martin's Press (March, 2000)
Authors: Whitman Coin Products and Whitman Coin Products
Average review score:

An excellent coin album for the new Sacagawea dollar.
This is a coin album for collecting the new Sacagawea gold-colored dollar which the US Mint began issuing in 2000. On the first page of this two page binder are cut out holes or ports with three holes per line, one line for each of 2000, 2001 and 2002. The three holes per line are for the dollars minted at the three mints--Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco. The second page also has the same nine holes but without any dates printed, probably because the US Mint may decide not to mint any of these dollars after 2002. Each line of holes on each page has a clear plastic slide piece which is gently pushed (assembly by buyer) over and under each coin line to cover the coins, front and back, and keep out dust, dirt and corrosion, at least to some degree. Having fifteen of these clear plastic slide, coin-covering albums, I would rank this one on a par with the best in workmanship and layout. There is no doubt in my mind that these albums do protect and display collector coins much better than the older folders in which coins are pressed down into coin holes. Whitman has had a strong reputation for several decades in the production of reliable and attractive coin albums. This Sacagawea dollar album is their latest contribution to their extended history of valuable coin collecting materials.

Salute, Walt Whitman
Published in Hardcover by Twin Palms Pub (December, 1996)
Author: Duane Michals

excellent photo, so so poem
I love this book very much but I did not buy it. I go to libraries to read this book many times. There's only one model in this book. The first several pages made me astonished for the beauty of the model. His body looks like ancient greek statue so much that I think Duane Michals emphasize this in purpose. There are also other fabulous photos inside this book that make me feel so moved. The only disadvantage of the book (for me only, maybe you don't think so) is that I don't like Walt Whitman's poems, not at all. His peoms in my opinion are too shallow and no ryme, like the talk of a farmer who reads little and who does not have talent in poems at all. (Maybe his proses are good.) I cannot tolerate seeing bad poems beside at the time of looking at wonderful photos.(that's why I did not buy the book but just read it in library).

If you like Walt Whitman's poem , consider the masterpiece of photos of Michals(the photos inside this book are a masterpiece absolutely), go and buy one for yourself, or at least borrow it from a library.

Selected Poems of Walt Whitman
Published in Textbook Binding by Barnes & Noble (August, 1976)
Author: Walt, Whitman
Average review score:

Walt Whitman is a talented, visionary writer!
This book is highly entertaining and quaint, and it also teaches acceptance and peace through example. With views that even today are still evolving in America, Whitman almost seems to have written this book in 2050, and just slipped it back in time for us to read now.

Charming read-a-loud
This book is soft and cozy and full of snowy adventure for the very young child and their parents. The poetry is gentle, the words full of fun sounds. A great book for the holidays, whether you live in Texas where snow is a wonder, or you are surrounded by it and sitting by a warm fire wanting a good book to share.

Positively Energizing!
THANK YOU SHEILA WHITMAN! It has been quite some time since I have been drawn to read and re-read and re-read again an entire set of poems! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK for those who cherish their 'quiet time' and for those who wish to find a quiet time! It is a quiet passion that arises on the first 'read'and believe me, there is no mistaking the warm feeling that you have when you realize you have just nibbled on words and structure that promises--and delivers so much 'more' every time you open these pages.
Only 21 little poems, but so multi-faceted, multi-layered that in one way or another, stirs all your senses. You smile, you sigh, you think, you reflect and well, you are simply motivated to feel; And feel so many things at so many levels! Ms. Sheila Whitman truely 'Embraces the sparks of life' and allows us all to do the same. I can see myself reading these same pages many years from now, rockin' on the front porch, and smiling, sighing, thinking and feeling--
